Frequently Asked Questions
How can I request the service?
To request the service, just send us a message on WhatsApp or via email, and we’ll take it from there
Does the listed price for the services include VAT?
Yes, prices include VAT
Do payments continue over school holidays?
As children take their well-earned holidays, we use this time to enhance our services and menu. Payments continue during school-year holidays, but we do not charge in August due to the longer summer break.
My child has allergies—can they still enroll in the food program?
Despite our best efforts, children who are sensitive may still experience food allergy reactions. To eliminate any risk, we do not enroll children with known allergies.
My child has dietary restrictions—can they still enroll in the food program?
We offer only vegetarian meals that are rich in vegetables and nutrition. Our menu may include eggs, but does not contain fish or meat. If your child is comfortable eating these foods, they are welcome to join the food program.
My child doesn’t eat meat, fish, or eggs —can they still enroll in the food program?

My child only eats vegan food —can they still enroll in the food program?
We always offer vegetarian options. As the goal of this program is to provide balanced nutrition, vegetarian meals may include dairy products. At this time, we do not offer fully vegan meals. However, you are welcome to register your preference, and we will consider introducing vegan options as demand grows.
Can I select specific meals for my child from the menu?
To maintain affordability, meals are served according to our weekly menu, so individual choices aren’t possible. We do track children’s preferences and adapt the menu over time. If your child has specific feedback, please let us know—we’d love to hear it.
We want to discontinue the subscription. How does it work?
While we’re sorry to see you leave, we fully respect your decision. Subscriptions can be cancelled monthly with notice before the 25th of the month. We’d truly appreciate it if you could share your feedback to help us improve
My child is in their final year at school—when will the payments stop?
What a proud moment—your child is completing school! Kindly follow the process to cancel your subscription.
What is the ‘Free Healthy Lunch Experience’ program?
As part of this initiative, we are piloting a healthy meal program in collaboration with partner schools. Through this program, we work closely with both schools and parents to provide a free lunch to 30 children, once a week for 4 weeks.
The main goal is to understand children’s interest in and acceptance of healthy food. This program is fully sponsored by NutriSmaak.
We ask schools to support us by facilitating food distribution and helping collect honest feedback from the children. We are looking for parents of 30 children—preferably from the same class—who are willing to enroll their children in the program.
As this is a small pilot group, we can only include children without allergies.
While we hope to continue fostering a connection between children and healthy food beyond the program, neither school nor parents are obligated to subscribe after the end of this program.
See ‘Free Healthy Lunch Experience‘ for more details. If you are a school or parent interested in participating, please feel free to contact us.
What does “local farm-to-table supply chain” mean, and is it currently in operation?
At NutriSmaak, our goal is to provide highly nutritious, fresh food to children. To achieve this, we aim to minimize the time between food production and consumption. Imagine vegetables like carrots or tomatoes harvested just a day before being served, or eggs delivered fresh shortly after laying—without any factory processing.
To make this possible, we aspire to collaborate closely with local farmers and suppliers. This approach not only ensures fresher, higher-quality food for children but also supports local producers and strengthens the local food ecosystem by providing them with additional income.
We recognize that not all ingredients can be sourced locally, so this approach may not be feasible for every item we use. While this remains our long-term ambition, we are not yet fully operating at this level.
With your support in scaling subscriptions, we aim to build and sustain this local supply chain in the future.
